Yesterday was my teacher's birthday, and he is a very cool teacher, he always hepled us (Me and some friends of mine) in school thigs, and even for personal happenings, very relaxed and happy person, so after after he had done a lot for us (all the effort he has made for us) we decided to gift him with an unexpected gift (it was a vinyl copy of "meat is murder" [yeah it was expensive me and some friends united some money] he is a big Smith's fan), and it was like he felt very happy, and it was like wow. it's good to receive something when you're not expecting something, or without pretentions, it feels good, because it also happened with me, sometimes when I'm expecting in the crhistmas (well a long time ago) I used to expect big things and expensive gifts, and I used to be disapointed when people gifted me with clothes or toys I didn't want. Now that I don't have that big christmas, and I don't expect anything, I feel good receiving things (even that times I don't need material things, most like songs or tributes with a poem I like to do and receive them too)

So here is the question what was the last time you received and/or gave an unexpected gift, whose/for who was it, how was the situation, and how did you feel?. add whatever you want I'm curious about your stories BEA.

Well I'm still waiting for a present I ordered off Amazon for my brother's tenth birthday back in January and it still hasn't arrived, nor been dispatched.

Tax-evading fucks.

I ordered a Polaroid camera to someone's doorstep a few weeks ago.

And I'm currently giving away a vinyl copy of London Grammar's If You Wait online in a tumblr raffle.

The last thing I received was an CD of an EP from a South African band who thought I would like it.
