I thought it was hilarious and somewhat true. I don't pay attention to politics much, and don't care to get involved in them, so this is coming from a neutral perspective. And if people hate this so much, go become the liberal Naples; it's really not worth it though

Well I wouldn't call myself a Conservative per se, but I find this post hilarious, and true in many ways. There are lots of problems with modern-day liberals, who maybe in the 50s-60s were fighting a good cause rebelling against the rigid conservatism of that time. Now adays they are pretty much just as bad. Affirmative Action (aka reverse racism), Political Correctness (aka speech/thought control), Pro-Choice (aka fetus murderers). I am not fond of. Anyways perhaps the Right could be more tactful in expressing their opinions, but I agree with a lot of what they're saying. I'm just not sure they should be running the country!

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money to spend.
The unconstitutional 2,700 page so called health care bill, the one that and I quote Nancy Pelosi, then speaker of the House, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what's in it". So I wanted to add a word to this thread.
Obamacare = SOCIALISM _________________ .

She won't even be the republican nominee. If she is, she will lose. She doesn't even have the support of her entire party and the democrats pretty much universally hate her, so that would be a losing constituency. The evil political genius Karl Rove knows she has no chance, and that is why he is trying to take her down now. If you're going to post about politics,you should have some understanding of it that goes beyond talking points.
As for the Obama health care plan, it's not single payer medicare for all; the health care companies are still in charge, as everyone has to buy from them, so if anything, it's still health care as capitalism, big time. Believe me. The insurance companies love the Obama care plan because they will make even more money. You can certainly argue the mandate is unconstitutional, but it includes subsidies to help people buy insurance. Also, did you know Obama's health care plan was once very similar to a republican health care proposal? Look it up. Anyways, the health care / insurance situation was/is a major problem that is/was only going to get better. So what is the republican plan? So far, the Republicans' answer is to repeal the health insurance plan. Let's say, they are successful. Then what? Do the republicans actually have a plan to deal with the problem? Or are they just going to throw the coin in the fountain, and hope that their unyielding faith in the free market will make it all right. And while I'm on the subject, besides political gain, what exactly is the Republican agenda for America, besides of course, putting more money in the pockets of rich people and continuing to delude themselves that supply side economics works. They're in charge of the House now, so at some point they are going to have to govern. I think the electorate is already starting to experience buyer's remorse.
The notion that Obama is socialist is hysterical. If Obama was a socialist, he wouldn't have Timothy Geithner as his treasury secretary, and he wouldn't be asking people like Larry Summersand Ben Bernanke for economic advice. Also, how would you explain the deficit commission, which was Obama's idea? Why did he agree to the tax cut proposal that will mostly benefit the richest people in America? But these are facts and logic, which tend to question and contradict conspiracy theories and Fox News talking points.
Moreover, for those who criticize the stimulus, are you aware that more jobs were created under Obama in two years than were created during the entire eight years of the Bush administration? Wait a minute! But didn't Bush do those tax cuts? Didn't those create jobs? Apparently not. So why is unemployment still so high? Because the economy has fundamentally changed, and I can not emphasize enough that the economic collapse brought on partly by deregulation and a stock market run amok, was more devastating than most people grasp.
Obama may not be the best candidate, but who do the republicans have that they can actually beat him with? If you answered Sarah Palin, see the first paragraph. So far, the republicans are looking like the democrats in 2004, pathetic. Unless some Reagan figure comes out of the woodwork, Obama will be re-elected. It just won't be a landslide this time though.

Personally I have little use for Republicans or Democrats anymore. I just want a government for the people by the people. I voted for Ron Paul who ran as a Republican but is a Libertarian at heart. Yes it would be hysterical to call Obama a socialist. Considering he's actually a communist.
Obamma created more jobs in two years than George Bush did in 8
WRONG
The so called stimulus did create a few jobs
AT A COST TO TAXPAYERS OF $250,000.00 per job created. _________________ .
