Ive got an idea! Comment here and the next person to reply must gift you an album on iTunes from your wish list. The person who gifted it to must then receive an album from the next person to comment, and so on. Ideally, for every album you gift, you gain one. It would bring us closer as a community, and would be kind of fun. Thoughts?

ITunes? Never heard of it.

Sorry for the dickish response, but I'm not really sure if that many here actually use iTunes, personally I prefer buying cds as they are half the price, and you actually get something

Please don't get me an album on iTunes. 256kps AAC? No thanks.

Neat idea though.

Yeah, it would be fun if there was a way to do this with cds or vinyl, but I'm certainly not gonna be giving out my address...

It was a good idea, but most people here just pirate their music or listen to it on Spotify...

True.. I do vinyl/cd gift exchanges with friends, though that's out of the question here. It's 100x more fun than this could ever be Mr. Green
I pirate almost all my music, though I would still be open to iTunes gifting since I have plenty of gift cards.

I really hate to give them the business & support the compressed MP3 movement.

Just curious, where do you get your digital music? Any places I could find high quality MP3 files?

I go the...uh...less than legal route. I'm a member of what.cd, which is sadly an invite only, private tracker. So I have all my files in mp3 VBR v0, and the occasional 320kps. So I can't really help you there, just be on the lookout for high quality files (or an invite).

Thanks for the info! It sounds amazing, though I have absolutely no chance of being accepted. You're lucky Mr. Green

Sorry, I prefer not to have a corporation tell me what I can and cannot do with my music.

So the whole point of this is that the OP gets a free album and gives to nobody?
