I used to be obsessed with this album, for about a month. Then I realized the album is incredibly frontloaded and the self-titled debut is infinitely better.
Their last good album I'd say.

This was the album that got me into QOTSA, but at this point it's probably my least favourite QOTSA album. Still one of my favourite bands, though.

I never was a huge fan when this first came out but recently listened to this again and wondered why I wasn't a fan originally. Personally Rated R is my favorite but this is a close 2nd for me.

I would have said it's incredibly backloaded (is that the word?). Those last 7 tracks are what makes this album what it is as far as I'm concerned.
ALSO
Lullabies To Paralyze > ...Like Clockwork > Songs For The Deaf > Rated R > Era Vulgaris > Queens Of The Stone Age
But all are supoib.

Amazing album, either this or Like Clockwork is my favorite from them. They did this style of mainstream rock a lot better than the other bands. My favorite track is A Song for the Dead.

Pretty good album; listened to it when it first came out and liked it, for about a month. Then kinda just shelved and forgot about it.
