Because most of the good ones don't want to waste money on a pointless fight where they will just look like an asshole. So they'll wait until 2016.
If you are interested, here's the extremely lengthy list of who IS running against Obama this year. My favorite is Vermin Supreme, who may or may not be related to Beef Supreme.

Because Obama is already the president and running. It's VERY rare that you'll ever find anyone in a party running against an incumbent president of the same party - just look back at the 2004 presidential election, for example.
There's too much of a risk of splitting party support and is generally considered a "political faux pas".
