I've read the reviews of bands of this genre, so many are negative, much people hate this genre.

And My question is why?, Don't ask me if i listen this genre, yes, i listen to Post-Grunge, I like Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Breaking Benjamin (But i don't consider Post-Grunge at all to this band), 30 seconds to mars, and a few more.

I find it kind of unoriginal tbh... it would be like having a "Post Classic Rock", just don't make sense, there are other genres that come from grunge or that grunge came from that are better imo.

i'm not entirely sure what it is, but I think it's one of those sounds that took over rock radio which always leads to grumbling from self identified rock fans. Like how stuff in the past was called butt rock.

I love Nickelback's Silver Side Up, but so much post-grunge honestly sounds generic. The difference between "cock rock" and "butt rock" isn't just the eras or genres they're based off of, but the reasons they're considered bad: The former is "bad" because of poor taste and an aural sort of crassness, while the latter just sounds like mush.

Our Lady Peace are awesome, especially their first 2 albums: Naveed and Clumsy. And unlike the critics, I actually like Bush, especially their first 2 albums: Sixteen Stone and Razorblade Suitcase.

I don't know that we have a full grasp on the definition of post-grunge, cause 30 Seconds To Mars and Foo Fighters aren't it

True, but they are arguably butt-rock (which is a completely subjective term, BTW).

i don't either. I consider foo's and bush's first album to still be within the grunge "genre".
