Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

So how does it work then?

Hm, I’m not sure what I should say about it then.

I mean, I've used it a lot before, I used to make a lot of playlists there, and it all seems legit to me. It gets a lot of traffic and has never seemed to run into any legal issues, so I don't see any problems with it. _________________ 2023 Chart

I think for the time being we’ll stick to the Spotify usage (unless I completely change my mind), since there is no gray area with legal issues. Most of the userbase uses the service, anyway. This is not me saying that I want to exclude people, but I think keeping it simple and in-line with the original intention and title is the better option.
And as I said earlier:
The only problem I see with external playlists is people will refuse to listen to those who made their playlists through Spotify and set a sort of bad precedent about the project. Because if nobody is really listening to the other works then the project will fall apart quickly.

Yeah, much like Kool Keef, I'm happy to put together a playlist and then send people a PM link, but my computer starts spluttering and having seizures whenever I try to load up Spotify. I will listen to any playlists people make in a format I can actually access. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Does the Spotify browser feature such as something like this, also cause issues?

oh mixcloud is a legal service, they pay out royalties to rightsholders and prevent users from rewinding as part of whatever licensing agreement they have. but if you're looking to keep things in one place then yeah it would need to be spotify only.

This idea seems very similar to SoundBounce.
