Yes, Prince is very talented, only a fool would say that he wasn't.

But I voted for The Byrds


Just imagine if you would what it must have been like to hear this song and how far ahead of it's time it was, when it was recorded in

JANUARY OF 1966 Shocked

That is SIX MONTHS before The Beatles recorded Revolver.

Went with The Byrds...tough call but I cannot say that I have ever "seriously" listened to Prince. And The Byrds, as GARY said, were way ahead of their time.

If this is one of the new match ups, it's pretty left field. I've really gotten into the Byrds in recent years, so that's who I voted for.

Question: Would the Byrds be more revered if they hadn't relied so heavily on Dylan songs for the first few years? By the mid to late 60's, they were writing great songs themselves, but that period is lesser known.
