Maybe stretching it a bit, but how about:

All he does from Monday to Thursday is wait for Friday, so essentially that's four days in a row being bored/doing nothing.
This is definitely stretching things - the song is him listing all the things that did happen! - but all those things are dull and the song is about wasted nights that turn into weeks.

Ok then. Doing nothing is obviously not the same is being bored. Only the dullest of people are bored doing nothing hehe. How about:
