New Zealand passed marriage equality laws last week I think? Just something on topic.
I detest the term "gay marriage" although "equality" isn't really accurate either (Can't marry a toaster or a puppy). Might just have to say same sex marriages are now legal in New Zealand.

What are these group rights you're referring to? Surely you aren't talking about a fictional "gay people" group..
