Globalization Bad For American Economy

Many politicians argue that globalism is a good thing, that it opens up new markets for trade. They say it is a good thing because it reduces barriers to international trade, such as tariffs, export fees and quotas.

I think this is the only reason America's economy will eventually fail. This globalization that we should be encouraged to have free trade is ridiculous. I think we should be regulating the shit out of our international trade! Yet the government does nothing! In fact they encourage it, they recently signed the CAFTA a free trade agreement with central America... guess what just like Mexico they are now free to flood our economy with slave labor. With no repercussions , in fact it is probably encouraged! Corporations are giving these peasants 10 cent an hour jobs, wow what humanitarians!. Meanwhile America's manufacturing jobs are being sucked up by 3rd world countries.

And yet the analysts are astounded that there is high unemployment they don't get it. Even high tech jobs are going overseas to countries like China. Yet Republicans are screaming less regulations!!! NO! The large corporations who outsource all of their manufacturing should be condemned and receive substantial fines. And we must increase all of our TARIFFS substantially!!!!!! We can't let their slave labor force to compete directly with our middle class because guess what a corporation's sole purpose is to record profits, not save the middle class.

Do YOU think Globalization is a good thing? Republicans and Democrats seem to love it, do you think it helps the poor in 3rd world countries who can now make more than they were before?
