Man, imagine if a folk/country singer did a song like that decrying black people from doing folk, country or electronic, people would fucking rage.
Because there is a long and storied history of white people creating the foundations for those genres and then having a massive wave of black artists have the credit for all those innovations assigned to them by the radio and music press, all the while leaving those white artists more or less forgotten except by music buffs and the generation that was around for that white music.
