I haven't listened to a lot by Air, but as an album, I find this very empty sounding. Nothing really interested me.
The quality, production and talent that went into it is noticable though, so I give it credit for that.

Well, I am in the minority here then. I love this album and, as suggested by another current thread title, I actually never liked it until a year or so ago. As a complete album, it works. The singles Sexy Boy and Kelly Watch The Stars are great on their own, but I find myself listening to this album more in its entirety than separate tracks.
It can seem empty, it can seem minimalistic but I like it all the same.
