Not sure if this has been done before, so here goes.
What songs do you like by bands who you otherwise can't stand?
Pink Floyd's 'Wish you Were Here' is the big one for me. Never been a Floyd fan, but I love this song! A few more.....
Coldplay - Yellow
Suede - Animal Nitrate
Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie (I dislike Queen, not Bowie) _________________ No-one writes them like they used to, so it may as well be me.
Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
Led Zeppelin - D'yer Mak'er
Jesus & Mary Chain - Taste Of Cindy
Katy Perry - Last Friday Night
Sleigh Bells - Rill Rill
T.I. - What You Want
U2 - What's Going On (Marvin Gaye Cover) (not sure if this counts...)
R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone
Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
Portishead - Glory Box
Dr. Octagon - 1977
Artists I don't particularly like, but I like the song that I've stated by them. Some pop, some rock, some rap, etc..
Weathered- Creed
The Anthem- Good Charlotte (almost ashamed to admit I like anything at all by them, but this song is really good)
Killing In The Name- Rage Against The Machine
You've Got To Hid Your Love Away- Beatles (Respect the hell out of their music and influence, but this is the only song I truly love listening to.)
Killer Tofu- The Beets
Nah just kidding every song by the Beets kicks ass. Shout Your Lungs out might even be better than Killer Tofu.
