It is non-accomplishable and nothing I promote. The statement was only made to reach the conclusion that the amount of guns in circulation have something to do with the amount of gun-related crime. However, that particular assumption's non-accomplishableness does nothing to change the need for a sensible debate on what kind of laws and regulations we need to have to minimize the amount of gun-related crime while still allowing guns for both hunting and sport shooting. Just because we will never get all the way doesn't mean it's a good idea to go free-for-all.
