Hey.

I'm not sure if BEA is the best place to do this, but I know we have that Club Beatz thread, so this can't be completely useless.

I'm looking for Dance remixes or indie rock, post-punk, electropop, even folk music.

I'm DJ-ing a teen dance for the first time, and I really don't want to play too much mainstream stuff Embarassed I usually play for over 18's, and my normal sets aren't clean. Also. Tracks need to be clean Confused Mr. Green

If anyone could help, that'd be great Smile thanks.

Not really. No mash-ups.

Like, I found some dance remixes of Bon iver, Phoenix & Lana Del Ray, but they were all pretty shit Embarassed

so... remixes are usually shit. you have to find great singles... these might be a few that you haven't tried (popular in U.S. but I'm not sure elsewhere).

Martin Solveig ft. Dragonette-"Hello" (great)
Far East Movement-"Like A G6" (great)
Robyn-"Fembot" (great)
MSTRKRFT-Katy Perry-"California Gurls" [remix] (good)
Kaskade Club-Katy Perry-"Teenage Dream" [remix] (meh)

if you're really looking for remixes, then Bassnectar and MSTRKRFT are the way to go. But if you're looking for danceable singles, then I can really help you...

Yes. I'm aware remixes are usually shit Laughing That's why I made this thread, to try and find some that aren't.

'Hello' is actually on my playlist already. Smile I only need 3 hours of material too Laughing

Like A G6 is a song that was ridiculously overplayed in Canada...so I may skip that.

BUT I will check out the California Gurls remix.

And as for danceable singles, I think I have them all Laughing I've been DJing for 3 years now. (I just haven't done anything recently).

I'm mostly looking for remixes, but it wouldn't hurt for you to post some more singles Smile
