You know, I think the amount of time these conservative political cartoonists spend recycling the idea over and over that the mainstream media (nevermind that they too are part of the mainstream media, just not in the spotlight) likes to coddle Barack Obama, all that energy might be better spent actually volunteering for their political cause.

Maybe the extra manpower might even help their side to electoral victory. What a grand idea. If only they'd thought of that.

While there are many volunteers its hard to get the story out given the media bias.

There's bias everywhere you look, coming from the right as well as the left. You want to change things? Stop scapegoating and making excuses, put your money where your mouth is and bring your ideas to the table. Try to be eloquent and prove why your ideas and policies are the ones that are needed (in tandem with others mind you) to help solve this countries ails, not just play the victim by trying to blame somebody (or something) else. When you always make it about somebody else or why other people's ideas are wrong, there's still little reason to support somebody who says "no, you're wrong" rather than somebody who says "here's what I have to offer, let's negotiate..."

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Once the republican party runs out of things to scapegoat, do they ever start thinking that it, just possibly, might be that they are the only ones really hindering themselves?
