While there is truth to that (the economy tanked in part because of policies created under Bush and Clinton), I do think that we need to move on and stop blaming Bush. In that sense, you are correct.
However, surely you must see how politics in the US is all about how the others are wrong or to blame, and not about what ideas you have to fix things. Both parties are guilty. I'm way more interested to hear how the Republicans can work with Obama to fix the US, rather than how everything he does is wrong. This constant campaigning is counter-productive. The election is over - get to work and stop complaining. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.

As far as I have read, while the economy did tank under Bush, the opposite party had control of both house and senate when the economy tanked. Now, I could be wrong, but does that necessarily mean it's all Bush's fault(not that I was old enough at the time to even care for politics)? He definitely deserves some blame, but does he really deserve all of it?

Much easier to blame those who struggle to clean up the mess than those who pushed forth policies that ensured it's creation. Barack Obama still has a lot to do to not only clean up the mess we got in but also push the country forward, but he wasn't the one who helped make sure the finacial system was continously de-regulated and made it easier for banks to push forth un-neccessarily risky sub-prime loans. He hasn't done enough to ensure that this kind of damaging, reckless behavior in the finacial sector won't happen again, but if you need someone to blame you can place it at every administration from reagan's first term to the end of Bush's (yes that includes some near-sighted and foolish decisions under the Clinton administration as well) that actually caused the financial meltdown. And considering Republicans keep pushing for policies that basically ensures that there will be less oversight on these risky and damaging profit-seeking practices by the US finacial sector, they have little interest in making any changes that would ensure financial stability in the long term.
Please, stop blaming the mistakes (and obstacles) of the fireman for the fire that has been difficult to put out

It would appear that the US voters disagree with your assessment.
Oh wait - they're a bunch of Kool-Aid drinkers who have been duped by biased media. I forgot. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
