Their albums are not in the top 500 on this site nor are the artists in the top 100! The problem is finding any that aren't in BestEverAlbums database. The topic title is Artists/Bands You Love Who Haven't Made Best Ever Albums.
So far only two have been mentioned that aren't in the database. One definetly should be: Fountains Of Wayne (love their Welcome Interstate Managers album). _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

No offense to the Best Ever Albums data base, but this topic was meant to be mainly subjective. Basically, I just wanted to see who people's musical bench warmers were and get a sense of what else people listen to around here. Also, there are a lot of great artists/ bands who have written great songs and do fairly good work, but maybe, just maybe, they haven't been able to create "classic" albums. Granted, that term is ultimately subjective though, or if you're influenced by the critics, which I know you are, Naples (and so is every music aficionado, to some extent), then base your list on that.
Here's another band I enjoy that I don't think is among the all-time greats, album-wise:
Supergrass (I love both their first two albums, but neither belongs in the best-ever category)

I can honestly say that all the artists I like have released at least one album that could be considered one of best of all time. | I think this has to be a joke. |
Oh, it's no joke.
My picks are Siouxsie & the Banshees, Camera Obscura, and Keren Ann.

How great are RF's posts? They've gone from making me angry that someone could be so ignorant to totally cracking me up. Awesome!

I thought the whole point of this site was that individuals registered, listed their personal favourite albums, and then these lists were aggregated to create a composite list that better reflected the public consensus.. as opposed to the choices of 'professional critics' or magazines with vested interests.
I don't see 'clube de esquina', 'for whom the beat tolls' or 'snowflakes are dancing' on any 'best albums of all time' lists, but as far as i'm concerned they are of such calibre, so i don't have any backpocket bands bubbling under the surface of my list.. _________________ no fat chicks
