Since Johnny's tourney seems to be dead, we should start something else...I liked that suggestion of a Jazz tournament. I could run it--I got time, or if anyone else wants to, be my guest. What do you think?

That would be great. I'd love you to do it. The only problem, I don't see a lot of jazz fanatics out there on this site, I admit I'm not even close. The couple of artists I like are Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey, Cannonball Adderley, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, and J.J. Johnson.

I think it could be done.

Maxxy, dont you know him personally? Anyway the first nomination is "A Charlie Brown Christmas", by Vince Guaraldi trio.
Or we could do some sort of best NON rock album so as to disabuse the public mind.

Not sure if there are enough jazz aficionados on this site to run a jazz tournament. I'll participate if there are.
