The extent that Armstrong was willing to cheat, lie, and bully those who challenged him just in the name of winning is sickening. I know cycling has a dirty reputation, but how did he manage to look at himself in the mirror, or talk to his kids all those years? I know he seems contrite now, but they always do when caught. I guess winning is like a drug, and once he started cheating and lying about it, he couldn't stop.
Cycling is like baseball.

You could substitute Obama's name for Armstrong's and cycling for politics:
The extent that Obama was willing to cheat, lie, and bully those who challenged him just in the name of winning is sickening. I know politics has a dirty reputation, but how did he manage to look at himself in the mirror, or talk to his kids all those years? I know he seems contrite now, but they always do when caught. Politics is all ABOUT cheating, lying and bullying. Necessary evils, it's the only way to do what is needed. As someone who has witnessed politics from the inside, I can assure you that this goes on the world over and there is no way around it.
