Thought we've been a while without a real, thought-provoking debate on BEA, so let's hit this up:
Does a human being have the right to die? _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

I believe that they will have reached an all new level of torment and what makes it so much worse is that it has no end

I suppose it's a person's right to choose whether they live or not, but I don't really support it per say. I don't know, it's hard to say what's the right answer to this. I would try and stop someone from doing it if possible for sure, but I wouldn't condemn someone for doing it.

I can't make a blanket decision on this, which is probably why it's such a tedious subject when it comes to trying to pass any sort of legislation on it. I'd have to look at it on a case by case basis to decide, and in that case I'd be playing god which has a whole other set of morals coming into question. _________________

Yes, but purely because I'm not the one to decide what rights other people should have.

But.. how is this any different from setting in place any other kinds of laws. I feel that there are plenty of laws that should be put in place that could potentially limit someone's rights. Then again, don't all laws limit one's rights? _________________

You make a fair point.
This really isn't an issue that I'm well educated on anyway, nor do I have a strong preference towards my opinion.

This is an interesting point.
For me, I feel my feelings considering suicide legislation are the same as mine considering drug legislation - that anyone should have the freedom to do unto themselves as they wish. _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

God did not give us life so that we could just throw it into the trash.

There's also another point to consider. Suicide is one thing. The person can do whatever they want with their body and it's extremely difficult to monitor anyway. Sure. But euthanasia, in the sense of assisted suicide, should that be allowed? _________________
