I'm trying to explore the dance-punk genre. Been getting into Joy Division, New Order, Gang of Four, Public Image Ltd, Talking Heads etc; going to get Liquid Liquid, ESG, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, the Cure and more: so I can explore the older stuff on my own. I was wondering which records from DFA records everyone recommends; I know to get both of LCD Soundsystems records and I'm going to get Death From Above 1979s record (again (used to have a copy but got trashed)), any others anyone recommends? Of course, they don't have to be from DFA, just 00s bands; DFA is just a company I know has alot of the genre.

I know nothing about DFA or any new dance punk, but make sure to get Lizzy Mercier Descloux's Mambo Nassau when you're looking for older stuff. It's number 40 or something on my list. And this too:
Come on, look at that cover!

Definately will be checking those out, Norman and Joanna; thanks. And, off topic, I was just wondering where you get your lists, RFNaples, cuz it seems like you regurgitate greatness like nobodies business
