Do you prefer music that is highly complex with many interchanging instruments and a lot of musical parts. Or are you more for bashing out 3 chords.

Personally I like my music more on the simple side. I find it to usually have more energy and I think it's more fun. That being said, it's nice to have a little variety in music too.

It depends. I love Nirvana and I love Captain Beefheart. There's no singular right answer.

As a bat who's very into arts, I have to say that great work beats poor detail unless you wanna talk so bad it's good.

Personally, I don't care whether the music is simple or complex, the only important thing is whether it sounds right. For me, the tones and effects on instruments are more important than what is actually played played musically, as the sounds are part of the music of the artist, and you'll never hear a song that has one instrument played at a time.

Doesn't matter as long as it's good. I listen to everything from something really simple and elementary as KISS, to the complex shredding of Jason Becker.

As long as it's enjoyable to listen to, I don't really care.

My first response was complexity, but then I realized my #1 was Aeroplane, so I guess it depends.

I was just asking about preferences in general. Just because you prefer one doesn't mean you don't like the other. I guess it is a little vague, but I wasn't looking at it from anything more than a surface level.
