The Beatles
Big Star
The Strokes
Crosby, Stills and Nash (& Young)

but there is always one or two albums I've never listened in some cases, like Neil Young.

I've listened to way too many discographies to fully list here. If I enjoy 1 album by an artist I usually try to seek out at least their complete studio discography. Then there are several artists that I get obsessive about and have to get every live album, EP, compilation, etc.

I usually start with the album I hear first or that is rated the best and work chronologically forward to the new stuff and then go back and pick up the albums from before.

Hmmmm:

The Beatles
Metallica
Iron Maiden

Those are the only three with extensive discographies I'm sure about (talking about studio here). You'd think I'd listened to everything by Bob Dylan, but I've mostly avoided the albums that I only hear horrible things about.
