I've heard The Avalanches. Not a fan. But I guess I should try out Miles Davis. And I should add Stevie Wonder and The Allman Bros. to my discographies.

And I'm not getting into Frank Zappa. Not yet.

Dude, listen to Robert Johnson.

Hold on! I made this all about me. I shouldn't do that. Thanks for your suggestions everyone! I have enough on my plate to keep me busy.

Right now I'm listening to Debut by Björk. So far, I'm liking what I'm hearing. She could actually get me into trip-hop! Then I'll finally listen to Dummy by Portishead.

Look into the American Primitive folk collections. Those collections are the foundation of American music.

If you're going into trip hop, I reckon you'll prefer Mezzanine by Massive Attack to all of these. It's much darker and heavier and much more accessible for a rock fan- well, it's what I think.

I found that I really like AC/DC despite many of the songs sounding the same. I've heard 10 of their albums.

She's not really trip-hop. Also, Debut is by far her worst so hopefully you'll like the rest.

I don't agree with this at all... And there is a bit of Trip-hop going on in there somewhere.
