I don't agree with this at all.

Me neither. I haven't been able to like anything after Homogenic, actually (haven't heard the latest one).

She's not really trip-hop. Also, Debut is by far her worst so hopefully you'll like the rest.

Disagree, Debut is by far her best in my opinion!

Bjork's albums are all pretty average, excluding Debut which is by far her worst album.

Fever Ray is like the best Bjork album. It takes all the bad things from Bjork while sustaining the good.

Well, considering you're talking to the person who thinks her 1977 album is her best album as well as got her confused with Peter, Bjorn, and John at various points when listening to music, I'm not exactly the best person to have a conversation with about Bjork.

Debut- 3 (too cheesy and cheap and poppy)
Post- 6 (more definitive and bold)
Homogenic- 10 ( flawless imo )
vespertine- 7 (bastard child of homogenic but still beautiful)
medulla- 5 (filler and original production)
volta- 6 (some of her best work but filler as well and remixes??)
biophilia 6 (more focused, good vocals, less filler, but not memorable for some reason)

1. Homogenic
2. Vespertine
3. Post
4. Biophilia
5. Volta
6. Medulla
7. Debut

Début may sound a bit poppy in retrospect but it certainly wasn't at the time, and I don't understand what's cheap about it.

I couldn't get into it mostly because it just sounded flaky, the instruments sounding like they were made in garageband and the melodies just were cheesy and sounded like karaoke ballroom music, I really hate Debut, and that's coming from a pretty big Bjork fan.

I'm confused. I haven't heard the album for a few years now, but I seem to remember the production was pretty good, though quite quirky as well.

I guess I'm the only one who loves Debut the most...
Anyway, shall be seeing her this Summer so maybe my opinions will change.
