Ok I promise my last poll.

Freak Out was recorded March 9–12, 1966 at Sunset-Highland Studios of TTG. The Velvet Underground & Nico the main songs "Heroin", "I'm Waiting for the Man" and "Venus in Furs" recorded in May. "Sunday Morning" recorded in November of 1966 while the rest of the songs were recorded in late Apil of 1966

The Mothers' song "Trouble Every Day" is one of my favourite songs of all time. It's hard to believe that it was recorded in 1966. I get a chill every time that I listen to it and realize that things really haven't changed much since then!

Don't know what proto-rap is. Zappa sing-raps throughout the song though. It's a commentary prompted by the Watts riots.

Proto just refers to an early form of something, meaning that song is an early form of rap. The Stooges would be proto-punk, for example.

this isn't even hard. Freak out is a really good album, but VU & Nico is just...better.
