Absolutely stunning, if very slightly inferior to Fear Of Music IMO. It took me more time to get into it, also, for some reason. Anyway, marvelous album, and Talking Heads are in my top 5 bands ever.

funky, pattern loving, soul influenced, post-punk attitude, It's one of a kind. Fans of this may like like the album 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts', both have David Byrne and Brian Eno with their ambiguous loopy madness. I dig this album, 'Once in a Lifetime' is everything you'd expect from a Talking Heads' classic. The majority of the rest of the album is very much how I described it in the beginning of this post, very good. The lyrics at the end of the song 'Crosseyed and Painless' seems to have influenced the song 'Wordy Rappinghood', just exchange the word 'facts' for the word 'words'. Still both are great songs.

So groovy and so funky. Also, definitely the most dynamic in mood that I can think of at the moment.

I love it. Groovy at times and really dark at others. Sort of like a funky Joy Division (yes, I know they technically came before Joy Division). A masterpiece.

I'm kinda mixed about this album. It has some great tracks like Born Under Punches (the "and the heat goes on" is one of the best bits of the album I reckon) and of course Once In A Lifetime, but some of it just strikes me as kind of... aimless.

No he means definite, there are a lot of conspiracy theories out there that none of the other talking heads albums were actually by them, but rather by radiohead in their infant years (hence the name radiohead coming from the song "radio head") but yeah its pretty interesting stuff
