I haven't, actually, though I've wanted to for a while. And yeah, I guess I spoke too quickly. They had a pretty big impact on the prog metal scene in the late '80s and '90s. Though, to be fair, RS cares even less about those bands than they do about Rush.

You'd be surprised. They have a much wider influence. Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails to name two.

They were, but, like Queen, they were also very mainstream. The same cannot be said for Yes, Genesis, or King Crimson. As for Rush, RS just hates them and always has.

I've heard a lot of Genesis on my radio. Mostly from "Invisible Touch." Still, how can any magazine call themselves professionals if they discriminate towards genres? A "professional" rock magazine hating a band for the band is the kind of crap I can't stand in Rolling Stones. Ever hear about the time RS asks the readers how good they felt "Nevermind" was, and the majority of readers said "It's a decent album, but top 10?" RS got pissed and practically yelled at the readers. Or so I've heard. Not sure if this is true, but Nevermind is far too appreciated.

EDIT: is Lethal alright today? Is he in a bad mood or is Brandon right?

Not drunk enough unfortunately, but there's still a long way to go until morning.
