This album, like much of Claypool's work, is really more of a novelty album than a country album, and at that it's pretty juvenile. Yet I can't quite diss Les Claypool--he's always got buckets of ideas, and his musicianship is unimpeachable. Over time you might see my rating of this album come down, but for now it's a little too much fun for me to dismiss.
