Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 5% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.5/100, a mean average of 75.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.5.

Often considered one of the essential live albums of all time, and it's easy to see why—very high-energy guitar-driven rock performed by Peter Frampton at his peak. Pretty strong selection of cuts here (Show Me the Way, Baby I Love Your Way, Something's Happening, I Wanna Go to the Sun, Lines on My Face in particular), highlighted by the show-stopping 15-minute performance of Do You Feel Like We Do. Probably could have cut this down into a long single album, but even as is, this is a strong record. Good choice for if you just need 80 minutes of live rock 'n' roll.

This must be the epitome of POWER POP live recordings.
stadium live american rock
This is a consistently great live album with several standout tracks: the opener "Something's Happening", the hit single "Show Me the Way", the ballad "Baby, I Love Your Way" and the awesome closer "Do You Feel Like We Do". If you are a fan of 70s rock, I would highly recommend it.
Easily the most overrated and overplayed live album of all time.
Frampton's shining moment. A classic live album.
Very disappointed with this one. Frampton's vocals were lacking frequently, and for the most part, the music was simply uninteresting. The final track was the one exception.

Defining album (Along with Rumours) of its time. Hard to explain to those who weren't around, but this was one of those "must have" records. Still dig it - especially the last track.
