Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.7/100, a mean average of 73.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.9.

Electronic Dance music is something I don't have a lot of experience listening to so I don't really have the best ear to judge (I'm more of a classic rock kinda person). That said, I enjoyed the sound variety of the music, even though a lot of it felt the same. I'd definitely listen to it again just for the complex sound layering.
A decent intro album with a fem gems like "borderline" but a little to light to succeed.
The Classixx are another in a long line of good-to-very-good electronica artists to spring up in this IDM/electronica revolution that began about 5+ years ago. The album sounds like a bubbling synthetic blend of royksopp and disclosure. With female lead vocals, it could pass off as something like charli xcx or (a not sullen) lorde.
Not much to see here. "All You're Waiting For" feat. Nancy Whang, & "Borderline" feat. Jessie Kivel are the only tracks on this that I'm walking away with. I really like both of those. Some of the other tracks can offer a pleasant background experience, but you can do better elsewhere.
Not really my cup of tea, but it certainly isn't bad. It's got plenty of summery sounds and bouncy beats, so if that is something you're looking for then check it out.
