Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 4% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.7/100, a mean average of 75.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.9.

Classic Porter. Lots of unique and interesting sounds and effects as well as simple but absolutely stunning harmony and oh my word the melody’s! Great listen, tho sometimes the production does make me scratch my head a bit but hardly noticeable upon the layers of great music already there.
Slightly above average Electronic album, shows promise.
This album could be Flicker, Fresh Static Snow and Goodbye To A World only and I would love it
Pretty good album overall, even though Lionhearted pulls it a little back for me. The imagery of Worlds is there, but the charm is missing. What I mean about the imagery of Worlds is that is very reminiscent of the likes of Steven Universe or Astroboy. It's also a fairly generic track. At least Goodbye To A World, Flicker and Fresh Static Snow make up for it. Divinity is pretty sweet too. One of the better albums of 2014.
This is a stand out album from the EDM scene. Porter pays homage to daft punk and the album manages raise the bar from there in terms of what a dance orientated LP can achieve. The tracks here are very consistent whilst still being varied.
I didn't really like this album until seeing him live. It's not groundbreaking, but Worlds is better than the output of most other recent EDM artists that I've heard.
