Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 86.2/100, a mean average of 85.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.9.

The only song on the album that wasn't new to the public, another recording of "Revolution" was released three months prior to the album as a single. It was written by John in India and dealt with his feelings towards the uprisings of that time (Vietnam War protests, the March 1968 protests in Poland and the campus uprisings in France in May 1968, to name a few). At the time of its release as a single in August 1968, it was the first political song by the Beatles since "Taxman" two years earlier. For the White Album they recorded a mainly acoustic version, which isn't quite as effective as its predecessor.
The lyrics are special. At a time in history that just about all contestation, protest, and revolutionary tendencies are praised and considered "cool," Lennon resolutely places some unmistakable footnotes and pierces the illusions that many young people absorbed indiscriminately. The music itself is unfortunately not of the same level. I'd rather have some more Walrus.
I love the guitar energy contrasted with the overall lethargy.
The brass makes this version kinda cool, I like it, but the 'shooby doo... alright' vocal bits are a bit annoying.
Cool track, nice guitar riffs and an awesome groove :)
Revolution is a great rock song but with the 10/10 single version existing this version kinda misses its point in being released.
Slightly boring version of the excellent B-side to Hey Jude. It's okay, but I much prefer the energy and power of that other version. This one's just a bit dull.
Hard Rock guitars intro sounds incredible, this song have incredible, beautiful lyrics, very great song
Wasted space. The result of too much acid.
Interesting track with some intermittent heavy electric parts.
