That melancholy jazz-style beat suits this song so well, and especially benefits Lamar's dead-tone delivery. One of the more interesting songs on the album.

This is one of my favorite Kendrick vocal deliveries over a more than tolerable bass line and sample of "Don't Let Me Down" by Fleurie
