Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 3% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 82.4/100, a mean average of 82.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.5.

We know Rush can create epics. They have done so numerous times before. This one has its moments. But it also feels repetitive.
Excellent instrumental section, the lyrics come across as cumbersome though
The Camera Eye is an underrated epic. It is engaging throughout its 10 minute length and stands as a worthy equal to the albums more famous cuts.
The Camera Eye is every bit as good as the previous 4 songs. I sometimes think of it as my favorite Moving Pictures track. One of Rush's best arrangements ever.
Pretty cool how this song captures two cities' essence in not so many words.
One of the all-time great albums stumbles a very tiny bit in its second half, but this is still quite the music journey.
Some will say it's overdrawn. I think it was worth the 11 minutes.
