Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Another mellow mellotron heavy track. Nice with a fantastic piano instrumental in the middle.
A beautiful composition and brilliant vocals. The lyrics sweep you away, the chord changes and changes in tempo are well judged.
Gorgeous. Phil's vocals are lovely, as is the soundscape created by Banks' mellotron. The lyrics are a bit hard to interpret, but I see it as about a "the grass is always greener on the other side" scenario, having dreams and expectations that you may not be able to live up to. Whatever your interpretation, it's a stunning song. It might go on a bit long, but that's no big crime. Really should be regarded more highly among prog fans.
Beautiful song, underrated perhaps because it doesn't have a particularly notable proggy moment, but it's a Banks classic to me.
