Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

I wouldn't call this the strongest start to the second disc. The instrumentation and Gabriel's slangy style of singing the choruses feel right out of an ordinary cheesy '70s rock song. That usually is not really a bad thing, but for Genesis? In an album of this caliber at such an important part of the story? It just seems kind of unfitting. It gets better as it goes, and the lyrics outside of the choruses really aren't that bad. Overall, it's a solid song. But it seems like a missed opportunity for something truly stunning to start the second half of The Lamb.

"the chamber was in confusion -- all the voices shouting loud. / i could only hear a voice quite near say, 'please help me through the crowd'." That's how the second disc starts. Sounds like Phil singing lead in parts.
