My god, what were they thinking? Was the purpose to capitalize off of a hit single, or were they actually attempting to butcher one of the most influential and soulful songs to come out of early 90's alternative?

This is probably the perfect example of a cover version that should never have happened. I believe that almost all music has some validity which is why this doesn't score 0 points but they took a wonderful songs with a strong message & turned it into ****.
