Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.8/100, a mean average of 85.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

I'm going out on a limb here and saying that Napalm Brain/Scatter Brain is the best song on this record.

By this point in the album, you almost can't believe that Endtroducing could have any more surprises waiting for you, and yet it throws this curveball just before the finish.

It's the soundtrack to walking out on the streets of the city at 1:30am whilst you're slightly drunk. It's those quiet evenings spent on your own browsing the internet. It's that long drive on those empty roads late at night where it's just you and the music.

This song makes me feel things and think of things that no other song can. A masterpiece.

There's always this awkward moment where I'm not sure if my record is skipping or if it's just Shadow messing with me (like Björk did on Post).
