Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.8/100, a mean average of 90.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.3.

This track really should have a higher rating on this site. It's the centerpiece of experimental pop. It may be a little overplayed but that doesn't retract from how good of a song it is.
A fantastic creation. It's basically an album in a single song. Amazingly structured and crafted. Music as art, and in that case, a masterpiece. One of the top five most important songs of the sixties, maybe ever. Genius.
This song is truly a hoot. All over the place and the work of a genius. I don't think it'll ever stop bothering me to see how this would've made a different impact in the context of Smile had it been released.
Great track. Great use of the theremin. Love the polyrhythms of the backup singers - great track. Even if you're not a fan of Beach Boys, surf music, or rock, I think this song and the way it's structured and produced is a must listen to by music fans.
Groundbreaking

The amount of effort that went into this is mind blowing... I can't wait until Nov. 1!!!!
Possibly a perfect pop song - beautiful

I heard on the radio yesterday that "Good vibrations" was the most expensive single ever produced. Never knew that.
