Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 57.4/100, a mean average of 49.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 49.6/100. The standard deviation for this track is 32.1.

Erasing that original comment from 2015, I was oh-so-wrong to give this 35/100. This is below is written on 17/12/24:
An incredibly well coordinated mess. Ominous in sound and execution. I almost feel like something died since this, a weird harbinger of what was about to come post-2016. Indeed, in being a complete caucophony, it bridges the gap between past and present sensibilities.
This is not one of Madonna's typical reinventions, but something of a logical end. A display of power - Madge can bring together a credit list as stacked as that - but perhaps only done to prove that the world was about to eat itself. At the time, this was a 54 year old, one of the most documented people in history, rapping over a Bubblegum Bass beat. She's always co-opted the sounds of the times, and yet again here, she proves herself the only artist capable of pulling something like this off.
Nicki feature is biblical. It's mad to me that they worked together more than once. Video is ruined by those out-of-studio features and saved by Jon Kortajarena being made to down his drink. You're not here to be lectured at by Madonna, nor is this even an ego trip. It is simply a statement of what is possible when enough people have enough zany ideas to try and bring this together. Miss you SOPHIE.
