Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.4/100, a mean average of 87.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.9.

A timeless, rugged masterpiece with one of the strangest guitar leads in “grunge”.
One of rock’s best album openers.
Just a clarification on JMan's comment, this song was written by Cornell and Johnny Cash is the one that made the cover, not the other way around. This song was released in 1991 and Cash's cover in 1996.
Holy shit! Those guitars are great. Deserves higher rating.
Very good cover! It's not the Johnny Cash version, but cool and unexpected. They had the balls to cover a legend, and they may not have succeeded at making it better, but they still made a hit in my opinion.
