It's a bizarre list. How does one quantify an artist's conservatism? I mean, a lot of hip-hop artists are homophobic but yet quite far to the left on a lot of issues. I'd like to see where this information comes from, with quotes and sources to back up all the names on the list, but knowing Naples that's far too much to ask.

Bork fucking owns the first page of this thread.
I find most music fans to be more liberal minded regarding race, gender, sexuality etc. Not necessarily more right or left wing just more liberal minded about social issues. I imagine this is due in large part to the diversity of the best music artists.
