Tomorrow is June 1st. I pray that we don't have to wait long for there to be more from John Foster the newest American Idol runner up. As of right now, "Tell That Angel, I Love Her", "Weatherman", "Just As She Was Leaving" and "Someone To Sing To" are the only studio recorded songs from him that are out there, and they are all from two years ago. I have no idea how he garnered the ability to get them recordings made, but if they are what we have of him so far other than the clips of his American Idol appearances which is where you can see him in his element. All that I can say is that he was made for microphone and I can't wait for whatever comes next from him.
God bless you and the angel always!!!

P.S. His Grand Ole Opry debut is next Saturday night. The WSM radio station website is where you can hear him online. _________________ Me & my favorite singer James Otto

This is Kelly Clarkson's newest song. It was released last month. It's the first song released on her own new record label "High Road Records". Kelly's now 100% in charge of her own music for the first time ever.
This new Clipse album… Damn. It’ll never surpass their first two in terms of importance and legacy, but the quality is here. "Ace Trumpets" was fire, but it couldn’t prepare me for a whole album of absolute bangers. Pusha’s doing Pusha things, and Malice has barely lost any of his charisma or lyrical magic over the years.
I know there are several fans of Mabe Fratti and Titanic here on BEA - don't miss the new single. La dueña, whose video dropped yesterday, is legit the best song of the year. The previous single Gotera also rips, can't wait for the album in September.
Laini Tani (2025) by ندى الشاذلي [Nadah El Shazly]
Back to Egypt. In Montreal, but. Egypt's having quite the month. I wasn't sure when El Shazly's follow-up to her excellent 2017 would come, but here it is. She's in her own bubble doing her own thing, and we get to watch. It's nice—
Hard Top (2025) by Kippie Moeketsi
Post-bop dug up from the depths of some crate in Joburg— top-shelf material— Kippie was in the same circle as Masekela, Ibrahim and Makeba, but never got his flowers— man just played, drank and died— but he could play— (archival)—
Mornings Of Bishnupur (2025) by Madhuvanti Pal
She good. Like, sparring with the best. One of the three mammoth albums she released this June, all of which have been instantly underappreciated. Best new Hindustani classical in years—
New Blood Orange, Laufey, Kaytranada, Earl, DJ Haram, Dijon & Mario Lucio all ace too—
And look at them little flags we got. 2025. What a year— _________________ Doubles & Conch
