My iPod Shuffle 2GB contains the best. My entire iTunes library is on my 6-year-old iPod Classic 30GB. I use Apple Earpods when I'm not at home. There, I usually use my KAM KHP2000 PRO headphones - that's really great sound quality, but they're a bit too big and too expensive to carry around.

I wish there was a new large capacity music player on the market.
The only that use a HDD drive (which allows for a larger disc space) are the iPod Classic and the Cowon X7 that I know of, and latter is more of a tablet than just a music player.

My iPod classic is alright I guess, but it's over 5 years old now, lacks features, doesn't sound too great and isn't all that loud.

If you listen to a lot of music on the go, you're only option is an iPod Classic or constantly deleting songs off a smaller device.

I agree totally. My 160 GB iPod classic has now only got 17 GB free space left so I guess later on this year or next I will also have to start deleting which I hate doing. Surely Apple or some other company should be able to invent a device that has 200 or 300 GB capacity. Especially for those of us with large libraries!

Not very familiar with hi-tech-I have an old walkman which I use sometimes to listen to albums, but mostly I listen to music using my computer's speakers. I listen to the radio too but only if I'm bored to use the aforementioned.

I think clearing space off your iPod/MP3 player for new music is actually quite cathartic, especially when you're in a mood for a purge of all that tat you downloaded because some blog or magazine recommended it and you thought it was worth a listen at some point. Anything temporarily 'removed' from home ends up on a portable hard drive.

Anyway, as my job involves a lot of driving around I listen to most of my music in the car, connecting my Zune to the AUX socket via mini-jack/mini-jack lead. At home, Sennheiser HD448s via a Fiio E11 headphone amp, normally when the wife is watching some unadulterated shit on TV (like she is right as I type this)...

Either at the computer or on my headphones, sometimes in the car. I have an iPod classic that I bought because of it's capacity but I find I actually prefer using my iPhone and adding or taking music off based on the mood or type of music I'm into at that time.
