See, Jason? You and Frog were talking about ME. When you could PM me, you decide to ruin the thread instead.
Well, OK. If you don't want this thread, then don't post. I'm not bothered. I'm reinventing myself, and I'm not mad.
However, did you notice that some people actually started to show interest until you spoke about me?
Now to get on topic. I've read that "Queen of Light took her bow, And then she turned to go," is about Galadriel.

Really? Because looking at the thread it looks like Jhereko called you on it first. Anyway, I'm going to stay away from this pointless thread now. _________________

Thank you. I think it's best that we both drop the situation.
Anyway, they say the line about the prince of peace walking the night alone could either be about Frodo because he tried to walk to Mordor alone, or about Aragorn deciding to leave behind his life in Gondor and become a ranger of the north.

I wasn't trying to say I didn't care what everyone else thought. I just meant to say at the moment, whether the song is based on LOTR or not doesn't matter to the way I feel about the song.
So, I'm sorry if anything I said implied that I didn't care about anything you guys thought.
Maybe this thread will start over. I don't know. I PM'ed a moderator about it, but he/she didn't PM me back, so I don't know. I'm thinking it's no. But anyway, I'm sorry about that.

A good portion of the song clearly is about Lord Of The Rings. For one, it explicitly mentions Ringwraiths. Other lines are almost certainly direct references. "Side by side we wait the might of the darkest of them all". "The Dark Lord rides in force tonight, and time will tell us all". To be exact I think the whole song is based at least loosely on the Battle Of The Pelennor Fields, the battle for Minis Tirith in The Return Of The King.

Agreed. I think the line about the ringwraiths riding in black clinches it.

It just occurred to me that this thread includes a poll for a question with an objective answer.
