I've just checked out the "customize overall chart" function and I have come to the conclusion that there need be no great change to the overall. The overall is fine. Keep it exactly as it is. I just put together a way better and more interesting chart by specifying using charts that are only 40 or longer, have been updated in last 12 months, were of level 7 or higher members, had no more than 6 albums by one artist (I realize this could cause trouble with someone with lots of various artists albums being left off.), and didn't take into account recognized charts or something like that (I got the idea it excluded official charts)... And man this chart was great! This sob made my day! It actually had a lot of similarities to our recent BEA regs top 400 (go figure).

So if you want a chart which meets most of the criteria that has been asked for in this thread so far, then go and fuxking make it happen! It's easy!

That sounds cool! Can you post a link to that chart?

How much do you like BEA's Top 500 compared to RStones top 500 chart ?

Lol. RS's over-reliance on compilations alone makes their list the weaker of the two.

And BEA actually has Doolittle and Loveless in the top 100. That's a big deal.

Yeah, even more so, actually. At least compared to the most recent RS list...

Agreed. RS is pretty biased against prog, but ours is biased against hip-hop, jazz, electronica, mostly every other genre that isn't rock, and even prog as well (though to a lesser extent).

I don't have it up anymore. Just do all the stuff I specified on my post or do what you think is even better in the customize overall chart function an you'll get it.

Most of The Beatles albums are epic, but 4 albums from them in the top 10 make our chart look a little...I don't know.Anyway still our Chart looks so much better than most charts.

In The Aeroplane Over The Sea or The VU&N would look good in our Top 10

Funeral Still Climbing, now on Rank 8

Funeral by Arcade Fire

As you see Funeral is making it's place strong in our top 10.I think It was last year that it was fighting for getting into our top 10.and Made london calling Exit our top 10.It's surely thanks to the reflektor hype but i think it deserves to be there. What do you think ?

I think the top ten would be better if the White Album went out and either London Calling or VU&N went in, so this is a step in the right direction.
