Sure thing. I'm not sure i would've recommended them, if not for the diversity in your chart. (Namely Wilco, Decembrists, mountain goats, etc)
Golden age of Radio is a straightforward folk album, some songs (come and find me) are reminiscent of Nick Drake. Some are a bit more folk-rock, Me and Jiggs, i think is the catchiest on the album. I wouldnt call it a happy album but the arrangements are nice if your into something with a Sing/Songwriter Mentality.
Tennessee is Luceros best album. Emotional Punk with Alt Country influence. Lots of booze and woman. Ben Nichols' (lead singer) raw voice is a huge contributing factor in why I love the band so much.
American IV should be in the argument with the best Johnny Cash album. Other than the brilliance of coverign the NiN song "Hurt" every song is rooted in pain and sorrow and death. He had to know the end was near and this was his way of making peace. _________________

Just some fantastic, upbeat coke rap. I love the dichotomy between the dark, nihilistic, relentlessly aggressive lyrics (not to mention the chemistry between Pusha T and Malice), and the poppy, soulful Neptunes beats. It's probably not for everybody, but it's one of my favourite hip-hop albums of all-time.
Some busy 2-step, basically a precursor to early dubstep, taking the funkiness and swinging beat of UK garage, but paring it down and adding colossal, bouncing basslines. Basically the bridge between the old-school of UK urban dance music and the new school.
One of my very favourite Melvins albums, and arguably the one that best showcases all of their personalities, buzzing energetically between weirdo-hard-rock, their sludgier stuff, and their nuts take on punk. Probably one of their poppiest and most accessible releases too, this is just the Melvins having tremendous fun whilst making a tremendous racket.
Some stoned and cynical UK rap, from arguably the best British hip-hop lyricist of all-time. I probably prefer 2010's The Dragon of an Ordinary Family, but honestly there isn't a lot to choose between the two.

I'll go ahead and admit I really enjoy this album. That may be a sin, but it's a right good album, In My Place, The Scientist, and Politik are among my favorite Coldplay releases. _________________
